②,方槽内壁略带锥度，以保证插入深量规与有镀层螺钉凹槽的配合。为使插入深测量深度适用于有涂镀层的螺钉，制造者在生产（镦头）时，应为其留出必要的加工余量。
③,表中的“r”表示正常插入深入。“s”表示短（浅）插入深度。
④,螺钉末端钉尖上不允许因螺纹辗压而形成的虚尖，允许略带圆弧或圆钝形末端。
⑤,小于等于8#的螺钉，螺纹牙顶平面宽度不应超过0.004in，大于8#的应不超过0.006in。
⑥,正常情况下，当螺钉长度小于等于其公称长度l0时应采用全螺纹，过渡螺纹长度应小于等于y；若螺钉长度大于其公称长度l0可采用半牙型式，但其螺纹长度应不小于b。
